Pitino Denies NBA Return

Rick Pitino denied rumors that he is staging a return to the NBA. He said there is absolutely no truth to the rumors that he is making a comeback. Further, he issued a statement saying:

“Neither me nor anyone representing him has contacted the Sacramento King vacant head coach job. The rumors are hurting the Kings and misleading players he is attempting to recruit to Louisville.”

Pitino has just finished eight seasons with the Cardinals going with a respectable 31-6 win-loss slate. I would love to see him back in the NBA, don’t you?
