Nate Robinson scored a season-high 41 points and his biggest play came in at the right moment. With just 26 seconds left in the game, Robinson converted a running layup to break the tie and put the Knicks up. They eventually beat the Indiana Pacers 123-119 Monday.

In a record-setting night, Robinson tied with Bob McAdoo for the most points scored in one half. He scored 32 points in the second half. After the game, Robinson felt the need to celebrate more and gave actor Will Ferrell the green jersey he wore during the slam dunk contest early this month.

The Knicks kept the lead for most of the fourth quarter. But they just couldn’t contain Jack who would always attempt a comeback. When the scored was tied at 119-all, Jeff Foster fumbled on an inbound pass and Robinson stole it away for an open lay-in that gave them the lead.

Jack finished with a season-high 33 points and Marquis Daniels added 28 for the Pacers who fell to 4-2 without All-Star Danny Granger and Mike Dunleavy. Helping out Jack and Daniels was Troy Murphy who had 19 points and 21 rebounds.

Al Harrington added 27 points and David Lee had 20 points and 13 rebounds for his 20th career double-double for the Knicks.
